Job Description: ALL IN Director
Position: ALL IN Director – Part-Time (up to 20 hours/week)
Location: Remote (with occasional travel as needed)
Reports To: ALL IN-Coordinating Council (CoCo)
Overview
The Network Director will manage and foster the coordination, collaboration, and strategic momentum of the ALL IN literacy network. This role serves as the central connector among national partners, anchors engagement efforts, drives fundraising and resource mobilization, and ensures effective execution of network priorities. Savvy in coalition building, project management, and fundraising are essential to this position. Content expertise in adult literacy is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Network Coordination & Partnership
• Act as the primary operational lead for the network’s coalition of national and cross-sector partners. Interacting with CoCo to ensure a high level of coordination and strategic priorities are met.
• Convene and facilitate regular partner calls, working groups, and collaborative planning sessions, including ongoing and regular engagement with CoCo members.
• Monitor progress on shared goals, action plans, and project deliverables aligned with the network’s strategic framework.
• Serve as the main point of contact for members, partner organizations, and external stakeholders.
Fundraising & Resource Mobilization
• Lead development and execution of a fundraising strategy to sustain and grow network activities.• Identify, cultivate, and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, corporate partners, and government funders.
• Draft compelling proposals, briefing materials, and donor reports.
• Track and manage fundraising pipelines and contributions.
Project & Operations Management
• Oversee planning and execution of cross-partner initiatives, ensuring milestones are met on time and within scope.
• Coordinate logistics for events, convenings, webinars, and other network activities.
• Implement systems for project tracking, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Communication & External Representation
• Develop clear, concise communications for diverse audiences (partners, funders, media).
• Amplify network accomplishments and opportunities through newsletters, social channels, and speaking engagements.
• Represent the network in key meetings and public forums as appropriate.
Data, Evaluation & Learning
• Work with partners to track progress on key indicators and shared outcomes.
• Support development of reports and insights that advance network learning and impact narratives.
Qualifications Required
• Proven fundraising experience with a track record of securing investments from philanthropy, corporate, or public sectors.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle priorities, coordinate teams, and deliver results.
• Excellent interpersonal and relational skills; comfortable working with diverse leaders and stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication.• Self-starter and planner; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred
• Experience working in or with national networks, coalitions, or multi-partner initiatives.
• Understanding of adult education, literacy, or related social impact fields (useful but not mandatory).
• Familiarity with collective impact frameworks or cross-sector collaboration.
Hours & Compensation
• Up to 20 hours per week; flexible scheduling.
• Competitive rate to be determined based on experience.
• Remote work: occasional travel for key meetings/convenings expected.
