National Action Plan Update

In collaboration with our partners in and beyond the literacy field, we continue working to implement the recommendations of the National Action Plan for Adult Literacy. This summer, we held a two-day workshop with leaders from national literacy organizations, along with members of the Barbara Bush Foundation’s Corporate Advisory Council, including representatives from AT&TBessemer TrustConocoPhillipsDollar GeneralHumanaIntel, and Vertical Bridge. A key focus of the workshop was catalyzing investment and engagement by the corporate sector in solving America’s literacy crisis.
